Country Jam Concert
Emmylou Harris headlined for the first annual Country Jam Concert benefiting the Epilepsy Foundation Middle and West Tennessee on November 10, 2007, with performances by Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Byron House, and Jon Randall. Held at the historic Belcourt Theatre, the event was sold out, raising more than $25,000 for the Epilepsy Foundation. In addition to the concert, a silent auction also helped raise money and included many unique items such as vacation getaways and country music memorabilia.
The audience included fans from across the country, who turned out for this special event. The Epilepsy Foundation thanks everyone who donated auction items and the event sponsors, including Abbott Laboratories, Pfizer, Inc., Sunset Grill/Midtown Cafe, Tony Brown Enterprises and Yazoo Brewing Company.
